Property Website Privacy Notice

How personal data is handled when you browse or contact a standalone accommodation website managed by Clarity Property Management.

Last updated: 12 August 2026

1. Scope and operator

This notice applies to standalone accommodation websites managed by Clarity Property Management for Clarity-managed properties (the “Property Websites”). It does not govern Beyond Stay, Airbnb, Booking.com or other third-party services, which operate under their own privacy information.

Clarity Property Management, part of Clarity Group, operates and manages the Property Websites and is the primary privacy contact for the website-level processing described here. Depending on the specific accommodation, reservation or stay, the relevant property owner, accommodation provider or booking service may separately act as controller for booking and stay-related processing.

2. Data we may process

When you contact us through a Property Website, we may receive the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, preferred dates, number of guests and message.

We may process limited technical and security information needed to operate and protect the website, such as device/browser information, page requests, timestamps and security logs. Language and cookie preferences may be stored locally on your device.

Where Google Analytics is configured, analytics data is collected only after you actively allow analytics through the website consent controls. The Property Websites are not intended to collect payment-card data or publish guest access credentials.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use inquiry data to respond to accommodation questions and take steps requested by you before a possible booking. We use necessary technical data to provide, secure and maintain the website and to prevent misuse. Analytics is used only with consent to understand website performance and improve the guest journey. Where required, data may also be processed to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

The legal bases may therefore include steps prior to a contract, legitimate interests in secure website operation, your consent for optional analytics, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.

4. Recipients, platforms and international transfers

Personal data may be processed by service providers supporting website hosting, infrastructure, communications, security and analytics, strictly as needed for their role. The Property Websites are built and operated using third-party technology services, including Base44 infrastructure. Google Analytics is used only on websites where it is configured and only after analytics consent.

If you choose to continue to Beyond Stay, Airbnb, Booking.com, Google Maps or another external service, that service receives data according to its own privacy terms. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area using the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

5. Retention and security

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to an inquiry, maintaining security records, meeting legal requirements or handling a dispute. Retention periods may differ where a booking is later made through a separate booking service.

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so access should always be limited to information necessary for the relevant purpose.

6. Your data-protection rights

Subject to the GDPR and applicable Greek law, you may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. Requests concerning a specific booking may need to be directed to the relevant booking service or accommodation provider if that party controls the booking data.

7. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the Property Websites, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
